Four Signature Itineraries

A minimum of 7 days is recommended to explore the highlights thoroughly; 10 days allows deeper exploration of remote sites. Your pace and interests dictate the ideal duration.

7-Day North
7 days

7-Day North

Wayag, Piaynemo, Batanta, Cape Kri, and Manta Point — a blend of diving, snorkelling, and scenery across the north. Best March–November.

10-Day North to South

10-Day North to South

$2,000 – $3,500 / pp

The full archipelago — northern reefs through Gam to Misool’s coral walls (Boo Rock, Yilliet), with a Banda Sea transition. For adventurous travellers maximising their time.

Central with Wayag
5 days

Central with Wayag

$1,000 – $1,500 / pp

A focused central route — Wayag, Kawe, and Piaynemo, with vibrant reefs and iconic viewpoints. Best March–October.

Misool-Focused Diving
7 days

Misool-Focused Diving

$1,500 – $2,500 / pp

For divers — Boo Rock, Yilliet, the Hidden Lagoon, Misool caves, and Manta Point. Best diving April–November.

Day by Day

A Sample 7-Day North Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Embark in Sorong

    Board your phinisi, safety briefing, then sail towards Wayag with late-afternoon diving on vibrant coral reefs.

  2. Day 2

    Wayag Islands

    Early-morning hike to the iconic Wayag viewpoint, then a dive at the famous Blue Water Mangroves — manta rays and abundant fish.

  3. Day 3

    Piaynemo & Kao Island

    Hike the Piaynemo viewpoint for panoramic views, then an afternoon dive at Kao Island with visibility to 30 metres.

  4. Day 4

    Batanta Island

    Discover hidden waterfalls and tranquil beaches; snorkel or dive the marine-rich Coral Garden.

  5. Day 5

    Kri Island

    Dive Cape Kri — a record 374 fish species in a single dive — and an evening beach barbecue.

  6. Day 6

    Manta Point & Misool

    Early dive at Manta Point, a reliable manta site, then sail to Misool to moor for the night.

  7. Day 7

    Departure

    A leisurely breakfast before disembarking back in Sorong.

Extend: Raja Ampat + Banda Sea

Combine Raja Ampat with the Banda Sea for diverse landscapes and marine life — three days in Raja Ampat, a transition day diving en route, then three days exploring the historic Banda Islands and famous reefs. Typically $2,500 – $4,000 per person, depending on yacht luxury.
