In the premium yacht market, a broker is far more than an intermediary — we are your strategists, marketers, legal navigators, and skilled negotiators, aligning your vessel with its ideal buyer while managing the complexities of high-value maritime transactions. This complete service, from valuation to final transfer of ownership, is encapsulated in our brokerage fee.
Our expertise is particularly critical in Raja Ampat and across Indonesia. The nuances of local regulations, the network of phinisi buyers and sellers, and the specialised marketing of luxury vessels demand a dedicated, informed approach — reflected in the depth of our expertise and the breadth of our global network.

How We Charge
The standard commission for yacht brokerage, accepted globally and upheld by IYBA best practices, is typically 10% of the gross sale price — an investment in a highly specialised, multifaceted service that includes:
Twelve years of local and international data — particularly the Indonesian phinisi sector — to price your yacht competitively and accurately.
Bespoke campaigns reaching a targeted global audience of qualified buyers through premium channels and our network.
Professional maritime photographers and videographers to showcase your vessel in its best light.
Diligent screening of potential buyers to ensure serious inquiries and minimise wasted time.
Representing your interests skilfully to achieve the most favourable terms and price.
Managing contracts, escrow, and a legally sound transfer of ownership across local and international maritime law.
Coordinating surveys, sea trials, and all closing procedures for a seamless transaction.
Commission is typically paid by the seller upon successful closing, from proceeds held in secure escrow. Our “no sale, no fee” policy underscores our commitment: we only succeed when you do.

An elevated, more hands-off experience that builds on Standard with enhanced marketing and dedicated support to maximise appeal.

12 – 15% (negotiated by scope)

Why We Stand Apart
Lower rates (5–7%) often mean far less marketing investment, limited global reach, and weaker negotiation. A compromised presentation or poorly negotiated deal can cost far more than the commission saved.
Brokers operating across all vessel types and regions often lack the localised expertise to sell a phinisi or a vessel marketed within the Raja Ampat cruising grounds. Deep knowledge of Indonesian maritime culture and buyers is invaluable.
Our Distinct Advantage
No Surprises
Our commission covers the services detailed in each tier. Certain costs, however, are standard responsibilities of vessel ownership — not hidden fees from us. We present every one upfront for your explicit approval.
Fuel, dockage, crew salaries, insurance, routine repairs, and upkeep until the point of sale.
Recommended repairs, cosmetic upgrades, detailed cleaning, or staging beyond a tier’s scope.
Marine surveys, out-of-water inspections, or additional valuations requested by either party.
Independent counsel for complex personal tax planning or corporate structuring beyond the standard sale agreement.
Sales taxes, import duties, and registration fees as dictated by local and international law. We advise but do not include them.
Bespoke campaigns beyond a tier’s scope — quoted separately with your explicit approval.
Post-sale delivery to a distant location is typically borne by the buyer; we assist in arranging logistics.
